I had to settle for Subway tonight.

Malaysian and Indonesian foods are very similar, but not identical. Malaysian cuisine has more outside influences (they do freely borrow.)

On to more simply things: I am making split pea soup with ham and bacon for dinner tonight. I do not make a whole lot of comfort food, but it makes a nice change of pace.

Split pea isn't my idea of a good time either, but each to their own. And, yes, hijacking is perfectly acceptable in most threads.

We've had some people spill their heart during tough times in their life. In moments like that, I try to practice restraint and not hijack the thread. Pretty much everything else is game.

If it had not been for thread hijacking around here, most of the time there would have been no activity at all. For much of the time there has really only been three or four of us keeping it going. All in the hopes of keeping it alive long enough for others to show up!

Facebook has kind of swallowed most everyone. Something comfortable about a good forum though. It's the difference between hanging out at the mall with all your friends, or your favorite bar with your best friends.
