Do any of you have this phone? I have been thinking of getting it. A friend of mine got it and likes it, another on the rig has the regular note and like it. I currently have a HTC inspire, good phone, works good but been wanting to play with some new stuff and the single core in my phone isn't going to do it.

HTC INSPIRE
1GHZ SINGLE CORE
768 MB RAM
ANDROID 2.2

GALAXY NOTE 2
1.6 QUAD CORE
2GB RAM
ANDROID 4.0

Personally it's to big unless you have it hooked up to an earpiece or bluetooth so you won't look jocolor I guess if you have huge hands this will be nice. I currently have 4 inch screen and I can do everything on hand.

I'm waiting for my contract to end this July so I can get a smartphone with a keyboard. Me needs Keypad.

Never used one, but have fiddled with one in a store and I agree with mrblur. It's looks and feels too big to be used as a phone.

I mostly do texting, spend large amounts to time traveling to and from work. Spend hours at the airport. It was a big change for the good when I went from my Samsung Jack to my Htc Inspire. The 4.3" screen made a big difference. I guess I will just really have to look at it more. I need at least a dual core Android device to try out "Ubuntu for Android". It is made to use the same kernel as Android and can run on the same device at the same time with Android. It gives you a full Linux OS on your device. Kind of like what they Did with the first ATRIX, desktop in your pocket.

Something at work I need a newer android device for is wifi. We have a fully secured citrix system. Android devices getting on WiFi has been hit and miss. Something on the Android wireless setting that don't work well with our security settings. I am GOING to figure out what it is. I never had a problem with my 10" generic android tablet with Android 2.1 I got in dubai. Ever since 2.3 and up they have had problems.

I have found my Android phone to be a trifle twitchy with wifi. A lot of time it will not pick up and display all available networks -- and you cannot connect if the damned thing cannot find something to connect to!

One of the guys has just got a atrix 2 and brought it out to the rig. Turned it on, put in the password for wifi then wifi turned it's self off. WTF. Never been a fan of motorola software. The original atrix was one I was considering when I got my HTC. I put the side by side in the att store with a phone that had dual core 1ghz and one gb ram the single core phone would smoke it down. I hear it comes to life with a custom rom though.

Glad you posted this, as the HTC One is the next phone I'm considering. Seajunior thinks I should get an iPhone, but from what I've read, Android is more robust and the way to go.

Have you seen the specs yet on the Note 3, I have messed around enough trying to decide if I wanted the Note 2 so long, the Note 3 will be out soon. 2.3 quad with 3 gb of ram.

Devices like that are too large for me. As it is, the One is already larger than my previous phone (thinner, but wider and taller.) In a case, it is already boderline too big. But I really love the phone!

When I played with it in store, I also noticed that it was a largish phone. But you find it okay for day-to-day use?
