Firebird at a recycle place I have purchased from before. They don't look, they just power on test. I put a bid in.

Proprietary is not something I would look to get into with desktop pcs. I have enough problems with laptops and finding parts.

They built voodoos off this base model if your interested. Might be a good project or a nice source of parts for a future find. What the seller is asking is kind of high but if he has to relist it there is a good chance he will lower his price do to lack of interest.

Guessing I need a 19v charger for it. I took the battery out and power on tested it once with my 16v toughbook charger. Still trying to dig up more info. Post pictures as soon as my phone allows it.

There is another laptop on the bay now. White and looks a little rough around the edges. I have got the parts to fix it still If I take apart the dual core amd machine I got. The U703 I left the single core intel motherboard in it.

Somebody around here well TNB use to have an envy a lot like that. Cant remember who it was though. I seem to recall them nicknaming it the deathstar though. At any rate with its age that price is a bit too rich for my blood.

If its the model im thinking of it shares the same clevo proprietary mxm card the d900 series uses. There were 2 clevos that looked like that and despite there exteriors being almost identical the internals were pretty different from what I recall. One was pentium m and the other being core 2 duo.

For the $100 total its going for so far I am going to pass, Feel free to bid if you changed your mind.

For that price I think I will pass on it also since it's missing some things.

I see they both sold. They dropped the price on the black one and it sold for 289.
