Blackberry apps
Well I just wanted to post the apps I use with my 9630, I would like to get the 9930 but with all the bad review except from crackberry.com or fanboys.
Just wanted to see what apps everyone uses on the blackberry, I know there is forums for the blackberry, but I like hanging out here on my free time.
Well here is my list:
- Iheartradio
-facebook deleted but it was nicer with the new update recently
-ebay (needs an update)
-wellsfargo
-tether - 7day trial only unless I find a promo code
-pageonce (it was sort of difficult to trust at first, but after two years no complaints)
-gmail
-google maps (way better then bb maps)
-concord (company expense report)
-CameraMuteapp -
-amazon - way better then actually going to the site on your bb
-newegg - way better then actually going to the site on your bb
-yelp - it sucks, but I like reading the reviews while waiting for lunch.
-fedex to track my packages
-USAA - number 1 bank
-password Keeper - awesome I have been using it for 4yrs, I just keep my work related log in's
-blackberry notes - I have over 500 notes, just make sure they don't archive when doing your outlook archive.
Just wanted to share, sharing is caring.

Re: Blackberry apps
I use a droid...
And I just got a new one so there is not much on it. Just the application that replaced 3banana.

Re: Blackberry apps
I use a BlackBerry (9800). Two actually: one for work and one for personal use. I don't use that many apps, though I like the idea of the Google maps, Amazon and Password keeper apps. I will have to look those up.
Here's what I have installed (and use):

If it matters, I have the Android versions of:
Gmail
Google Earth
Yelp!
Android Assistant
Lookout Mobile Security
Flickster
Moviephone
Google Maps
QuickPic (the stock Android picture application is truly lousy)
Photobucket
Youtube
Facebook
Noodles
Epocrates
. . . plus a game or two (or three or four)

Re: Blackberry apps
Nope. It seems to be the most useful of the various medical apps out there. Just for giggles I have tried the pill-identifier and it has given the correct answer.

Can you do me a favor have your android identify the below pic, I've been using it for awhile now. the neigbor says it "primo" drug brand name, but I can't find any meds with that name. Please let me know.

Re: Blackberry apps
Work with me.
Some of my favorite apps are the ones that you never knew you needed. I just downloaded Camscanner, which converts pictures taken with the camera into .pdf files. Never thought of looking for something like that (it was a featured app) but I have used it several times since downloading it.

Re: Blackberry apps
that sounds like an awesome, just one thing sometimes when you convert a doc/pic/apple pie to PDF it becomes quite large. Have you seen that issue with the app.
I now have foursquare on BB it's a fun came when your out and about. Let me know if anyone here uses foursquare so I can add you to my friends list.

Re: Blackberry apps
I have not noticed any problems with excessively large files, but I have not exactly been using it a ton yet -- I just downloaded it.
You are deleting your FB account, but participate in Foursquare? Ironic.

Re: Blackberry apps
It's more of a game, maybe one day I can become mayor for 7-eleven. I don't have any friends on it and don't plan on adding any friends on it either(me thinks)...

Re: Blackberry apps
I mostly gave up on foresquare when some phantom checkin'er ousted me as the mayor of my daughters preschool.

Re: Blackberry apps
Can't decide between 9930 or 9850.
After carrying the 9630 for over two years now I have grown attached to it....It will be missed.

Re: Blackberry apps
I'd go with the 9930, but that's because I'm not a fan of the slide-out keyboard on the 9850. That said, if you like a touchscreen and you tend to use your phone's camera, the 9850 may be the better option, as I believe the 9850 has a slighter better camera with auto focus.
