Been offline for a little bit. The rigs router and modem crashed and burned. We finally got the new one installed.

I do have a bid on it up to 28.88, I don't think I am going to really go any higher on it than that.




I am still talking to that guy with half the voodoo. He says they have the lower half with a dead motherboard, but it's not included in the auction? Trying to find out his plans for it.

Yup, bought it for the grey clevo. I have been wanting to build it up since I got it.

I head to the airport here in an hour, auction is over in over two hrs. If I can get wifi in the lounge I will try to keep an eye on it but I may be airborne to Doha by then.

Yep, just got into the lounge in doha, I had upped my max bid to 33.88 just incase I got hit by a dollar overbid. I see it went north of that. Oh well, I will have to keep an eye out for another one.


I seen that other mouse, no I am not bidding on it. lol. There is a firebird with the original box that popped up on there too. I came close to bidding on a couple that went in the 350 to 400 range. As soon as I get home I got to get some money sent for an idol!!!!!

This is my new toy.

Some of you guys may remember I was considering getting a tactx a while back, Which is a logitech g9x in a more ergonomic case. I couldn't resist the opportunity to mess with one of those mice. I am hoping that should it prove to be more then just a severed cord the guts from my g9 may swap over should I like the case ergonomics better. I am looking foward to spending some time with the soldering iron and some shrink tubing and getting it patched up and working as it should.

I just got three of these for the kids toughbooks. They are good for a cheap gaming mouse. They have already survived a few drops on the floor.

I am still using my old Voodoo keyboard to plug into my desktop, with a pretty basic mouse. Any suggestions for an upgraded gaming keyboard and mouse that are fairly inexpensive? I do not need too many bells or whistles (I have never used any programmable buttons on a mouse, for instance.) I currently have a wireless mouse, but that is not mandatory. I also like a keyboard with a good tactile feel -- I am old enough to have learned how to type on a manual typewriter.
