Iago, we are doing well actually, thanks for asking. It's amazing how going back on a budget and having to live from paycheck to paycheck can bring a common purpose back into a marriage that had previously been missing. Gail is slowly working down her debt and we are hoping to have enough money to start traveling again next year. Recently we have been taking local trips on our scooters (I have a Burgman 650 and she has a Silverwing 600). We never get tired of riding the backroads through Wisconsin and enjoying the scenery.

I used to lurk at TNB but hadn't been there for about 3 months until this morning (slow day at work). I noticed that there were no recent posts and after a little detective work I found a reference to this site, and...

Hope everything is going well with you. Rather than ask a lot of questions, I'll read the postings on this site first to get caught up.

Glad to hear that that things are going well -- I have never heard anyone put a positive spin on living paycheque-to-paycheque like you did. I like it!


Wheels and Wings is in Osceola this weekend, so it is too late, but keep it in mind for next year. We just finished our basement, so we have plenty of room. If you have a trailer for the scooters, there is great territory up and down the St. Croix river for day trips.

Eve and I just celebrated our 10th anniversay yesterday, so things are definitely going well for us!

Thanks. I realize that ten years may not sound like much to "old timers," but Eve and I got a late start! (For comparison, my parents are up to fifty-three years.)

I could add the years from my wife's previous marriage to ours, but if anything the baggage that she brought from it subtracted from ours! (All of which is gone now, thankfully.)
