Blackbird DVD drives

I've been trying to get these working after an upgrade. I've tried 3 different adapters and they will not work. Starting to drive me crazy. Anyone still using these or able to get them to work? What are you using?

To be fair, I don't know if the startech worked or not because it wouldn't physically fit. The IDE placement pushed against my sound card and I was unable to plug it in.

You might look at the Panasonic UJ-875. It is a slot loading slim line sata odd. No idea how it fits in a blackbird though. Only issue you should run into is the eject button alignment and at a quick glance it does not appear it will be an issue. You can always eject discs by right clicking them in my computer or hotkey 2 eject macros with 3rvx. You will need this adapter to physically connect the drive in a desktop.
