Core i7 foxconn lga 1156 warning

Alright I know its kind of old news by now but apparently foxconn lga 1156 cpu sockes are not making proper pin contact with the cpu resulting in destroyed motherboards and chips. Obviously the above is the result of extreme over clocking but it is plausable that it could happen under normal operating conditions (even if you did not over clock your chip) If you are going to buy a motherboard make sure the socket is manufactured by lotus.

According to that article the top of the line evga motherboards exclusively use lotus sockets. If you are running a motherboard you may want to verify the socket and make sure all the pins are contacting the chip.
