iPhone availability?

I have heard rumors about the iPhone becoming available to carriers other than AT&T have any of you heard of this or know the validity of the rumor and when it may be happening?

My nephew texted me yesterday that he just picked up one of the new Windows Phone 7 phones -- I cannot remember which one. He said that he is loving it. I considered waiting for 7, but my old phone was such a piece of junk that I jumped on the Android-powered G2 instead.

That is the problem with waiting for anything -- there will always be something better around the corner. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and take what is available.

Not that I'd want either, but I think I'd rather be in a crowded prison cell than in a cell with just me a guy named Buba.

A cell with a guy named Bubba or a cell phone with a guy named Bubba?

A cell phone with a guy named Buba I could handle. Buba in a prison cell would make for a bad day out.
