Aston Martins and Omegas are tame?

The styling can be bland. Compare a simple stainless steel Omega model with some of the bling you'd see from Rolex or Brietling and you'll see what I mean.

Aston Martins are beautiful, but you could argue they are tame compared with the likes of a Lamborghini.

Depends how you define tame. Lamborghini is a bit off the stylistic scale. Works for some, not for others. I like them, but other than for giggles I would not really want to drive one. It is true, though, that Aston has arguably let aerodynamics simplify their stylings a bit too much.

Aerodynamics aside, I wouldn't sneeze at any Aston Martin. I'd love to have one.

I would pretty much happily take one of any vintage. I still prefer the Eighties-era Vantages, but I would hardly turn down a modern DBS!

I love the 60's models, but I'd happily take any model year.

I would happily take one even if it did not work. If you have to have a dead car in your yard, why not and Aston?

Indeed. It might be dead, but it'd still have soul.

I was talking to the one other guy at the gym who lifts early in the morning like I do, and he said that he and his wife had gone bicycling up an area trail the previous weekend and they went by a junkyard that had stacks of vintage BMWs, Jaguars, and other classic sports cars & imports. He said that he had never seen a junkyard like that before -- presumably the owner must specialize in hard-to-find parts.

Yes, while I am not terribly fond of the white-trash ethos of having piles of derelict vehicles in their yards, if those vehicles were Astons, Jags, etc. I might just change my mind!
