I should be surprised, but I'm not.
The zombie trollops are scarier that they should be.

Intentional anagram? Actually, it works either way: rival survivors or viral survivors.

Re: The Undying Zombie Thread
While it would aid the push to the finish, I suspect that destroying the brains of the zombies may also be outside the rules.

Re: The Undying Zombie Thread
Finally got the shotgun I have been lusting after. Sagia 12. Not the one pictured but I am working toward the folding stock, pistol grip. I already have one 20 round drum. That picture has the hard to find 30 round drum.

Re: The Undying Zombie Thread
There use to be a old house we used for a "kill house" when I was in high school. Right now I have been expanding my play toys. Picked up that shotgun, a AR-15 stripped lower for a build, PPS-43C so far this time at home. I have sent a email to my local FFL who got me my 43c to go ahead and order me a Scomi M31 before I leave for work in a couple of weeks. I already have 6 71 round drums for it.

I think it depends on how much voltage they put through them.
I got my other zombie gun I have been wanting for my ww2 gun collection yesterday. Good straight hitter, clips and drums work fine.

Quoted from another source. I will be glad when ammo can be found in bulk again and I can take it to the range for some fun.
"The Suomi Model 1931 was a Finnish 9mm submachine gun used by German and Finnish troops during World War II. Developed by Suomi, it entered service in 1931 and first saw combat action during the Spanish Civil War, and then during the 1940 Russian invasion of Finland. The Suomi M31 was one of the most well-manufactured submachine guns ever made, for practically every part was machined from solid metal. It had a straight blow-back action and was fitted with a long barrel which was accurate enough for aimed fire at most combat ranges. The feed system of the Suomi M31 could used different magazines: a 30-round and a 50-round vertical box magazines, and a 71-round drum magazine.
There were several export models of the Suomi M1931, some of them with small bipods under the barrel or body, which were acquired by Sweden and Switzerland, who both set up their own production lines. This Finnish submachine gun was also adopted by the Polish police before 1939, and examples popped up during the Spanish Civil War on both sides. On the Eastern Front of World War II, it was used by some Waffen-SS units. German Waffen-SS infantry units preferred to use the Suomi M1931 as it was very accurate at ranges up to 300 m (330 yards); thus it could be used not only in urban warfare, but also in open battlefields.
Specifications
Type: submachine gun
Country of origin: Finland
Manufacturer: Suomi
Caliber: 9 mm
Cartridge: 9x19mm Parabellum
Barrel length: 314 mm ( 12.36 in)
Rate of fire: 900 rpm
Effective range: 300 m
Maximum range: 500 m
Magazines: 30/50-round box magazines; 71-round drum magazine
Weight (loaded): 7.04 kg (15.52 lb)
With a rate of fire up to 900 rounds per minute, and with a massive 71-round drum magazine, the Suomi packed a lot of firepower. When first released, it established a record for rate of fire and held this record over a period of years. In spite of this high rate of fire, the M31 remained very easy to handle. Its weight and pistol caliber cartridge account for the stability. Add to this another paradox. The Suomi, a sub-machine gun, proved accurate beyond 100 meters, the standard range for this class of gun. Accurate fire reached the range of 300 meters. Such accuracy is due to the quality of manufacture and a long barrel of over 12 inches in length. Hot loads also contributed. Standard 9mm Parabellum performance of 365 meters/ second (1,200 f/s) was pushed upwards to 400 meter/second (1,310 f/s) with an 7.5 gram full metal jacket slug propelled by a white-hot powder load. This weapon's robust mechanism allowed use of ammunition that pushed the performance envelope to the maximum."
