VoodooPC Omen with Original Packaging

Hi there,

Back in the day, I designed the packaging and OOBE (out of box experience) for VoodooPC. If you are familiar with this packaging you will remember it appealed to all 5 senses: sight (a visual feast), sound (tribal drum beat with light sensor), smell (cinnamon scented raffia), touch (lot's to open and experience) and taste (organic coffee beans and chocolate).

After prototyping and production, I made sure that I had a complete working sample of the final packaging and product. It's been in my office for several years and I have shown it off proudly.

I no longer have room for it but would like to see it get a good home... I'm thinking of posting this on Ebay in the next day or two.

Here's what's included:

Plain brown outer box containing 3 layers of packaging - no wooden crate on this one.

Top Layer includes:
1 - Voodoo Hat
1 - Voodoo Manual - no signatures (sorry)
1 - Voodoopalooza T-shirt
1 - Voodoo Zipper Pull
3 - Game Fuel - Chocolate Boxes
4 - Voodoo Tattoo Kits
1 - Voodoo polish kit

Middle Layer includes:
Original foam packaging
1 - Black Aluminum Omen, some cables and lights incl. (empty otherwise)

Bottom Layer includes:
1 - sample top layer from the Envy packaging
1 - Voodoo Manual - no signatures (sorry)
A bunch of bags for Voodoo
1 - Roll of Voodoo polish decals
1 - Voodoo hand stamp (used in the production of the packaging)

Most of everything is in good shape, but it's as is... probably the only full sample of the packaging left in existence. It's located in Calgary, AB.

It was great working with Bonmarca back in the day, I pointed him in this direction as I knew it could likely end up in one of your guy's hands as a good home.

The Black aluminum Omen in perfect shape is highly coveted, not to mention the full meal deal with all the little extras!!

I would definitely be interested! That would be awesome for my voodoo collection!

I think a lot of us wouldn't mind having it.

I will be watching this one for sure.

I'll be posting on eBay shortly, unless you have a better idea of how I can get it into the right fans hands. At this time it seems like the easiest and best way to do it.

I just dropped second bid in on it.

Well, the price of the auction has certainly surprised me. Timing for this is good, as I am in the process of emptying my office this weekend and have found other Voodoo merch that I have now included inside the box including letterhead, a couple more hats, more zipper pulls, some pins and a handful of brochures... and some one-off pieces/samples.

I had completely forgotten about the voodoo drum noisemaker. . . Those were the days.

I will be able to bid a little more than I am out. Just got that other case, Christmas for the kids and working on the truck have me low right now, lol.

FYI shipping from Canada can get expensive.

Just keep in mind that box is going to be a pita to safely store away from humidity where it wont get crushed/creased.

Q. Will I include other Voodoo Stuff?

Hoping I get it! Btw forgot to mention this to you but you ok with dropping off at a UPS store? It's the only somewhat affordable way I got to ship it to where I am at.

I will take it to the UPS depot to ship... JSYK: it's a big box, won't fit in most cars.

Can I ask what is in the "Voodoo polish kit"

Is it standard automotive rubbing compound?

Wondering what the best way to care for the chrome divider in my omen is. Its picked up some very light scratches.

Think I am going to try some mothers automotive products on it that are meant for chrome / nickle plated surfaces.

The contents of the polish kit is a car wax of some kind... might even be Mothers... it was so long ago, I don't recall.
