How sad non paying bidder, the good news the item is re-listed. Sadly the shipping is up $50, ...but still expedited.

Its funny, I was looking at this water block from a blackbird recently for my omen. Note the shipping, I saw $60 and I said wtf so I decided to ask about it xD.

Hi, I am interested in bidding on this however there appears to be a mistake on the shipping cost. To confirm this auction is for just the cooler and not the entire case?

This auction is for cooling system only. There is no mistake with a shipping price, eBay charge high fees and they don't charge any fees for shipping. So that's the reason

A while back somebody was trying to sell what they called "Redish envy" with a tiny crappy picture of k-tron's custom 709 with a starting bid of $0.99 asking 1.2k shipping, Let me see if I can find it.

Ah, here it is. Now k-tron did finally manage to sell it but I highly doubt this joker bought it. If he did he would at least have decent pictures in the listing.

I like the envy a:521 that came up for sale recently but the $800 the guy wanted for it is a far cry from what its actually worth being as old as it is.

The orange m:360 was also nice, It sold for a price that was more fair for both the buyer and seller. given the systems specs.

I suppose that since the items have the shipping charge openly listed on the main page, they can hardly be tagged for fraud. But it is an attempt to con people nonetheless.

I sold several hundred laserdiscs on eBay and actually had someone complain about the shipping that I charged. I responded back, "Do you have any idea how much a box of fifty laserdiscs (including two-disc sets) weighs?" I was simply charging what it was going to cost me.

I think it's more of a way around the "percentage"/charges eBay charges the seller on a sale vs. none on shipping fees.

At that shipping cost, it is a helluva percentage!

With shipping costs like those, why bother?

What's in a name? That which we call shipping by any other name would smell like a scam.

Technically excessive shipping is against ebay policy (Its even an option when you report an item), They don't actually do anything about it though. Why not is beyond me considering people are using it as a way around paying listing fees.
