Blackbird parts

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for parts for my BB case. I was wondering if I can obtain some parts directly from HP. So far, Ebay doesn't have available parts for the bb chassis.

Not sure if HP would still have the parts. I don't see many people parting them out, just selling them whole. What parts are you needing?

Man! when I talked to the tech guys left at voodoo phone support they had barely anything left for the blackbirds, or any of the older voodoo cases.


Your best bet is picking off a case to canablize

It depends on whats missing, A lot of things can be fabricated. A good example is that one person I saw a while back that replaced the stock hdd trays and backplane with a true hotswap bank. I dont recall if they had to cut any metal to fit it in there but it looked really clean. I will see if I can dig up the link.

Thanks guys for chiming in. I really appreciate it. I guess when it comes to BB parts I'm SOL.

I have a sudden urge now to get a blackbird after seeing that, lol.


We are all SOL on a lot of the voodoo and voodoo DNA stuff. All we can do now is make our own. Stay tuned though, more will be coming before long on the guides. Trying to dig up more white book info. And looking at cases right now that could be made to make your own voodoo tribute case with.

They haven't been produced in a long time though so its doubtful they still have anything left in stock.
