I have said it many times, but Batman: The Animated Series is my favorite version of Batman, including the movies -- and I really, really like the Nolan films! The music for the series is one of its strongest points.

As irritating, inconsistent, and irrational as the results ended up being, they were nonetheless worth the trouble given the monumental sense of accomplishment in our feat. To say nothing of the fact that somehow the timing of all the posts worked out perfectly without getting interrupted by intervening posts. That in itself must have been a record, even for forums with as little activity as those! Even on our boards here I have had a post show up between mine and the one to which I was replying.

I did go back and check and nearly all of the most recent threads are J.C. wishing people a happy birthday, many of whom never responded. Speaking of which, I did notice that he skipped September 15 -- there may be a slight grudge there . . .
