Looking for good home for Envy133 Empty Looking for good home for Envy133

Post  HooPoo Fri Oct 22, 2010 12:19 pm

I am a hp/voodoo refugee and got pointed here to look for folks who might be interested in my Envy 133.

I have two, one of which is in original packaging, has all accessories and sleeve - and I believe all docs and original disk. Was used lightly, but my wife didn't like it - she had trouble with her nails Shocked It's been on my shelf unused for a year and half.

Times are tight so I'm looking for offers from the community here before I hit ebay. I still have another, so this one is on block.

PM me if you have interest. I can send pics/details.

Thanks,

Remember the Voodoo Envy 133 is NOT a gaming system. Small, beautiful yes. Nice features, and very very cool. But a Gaming system no.

I will post pics later -

Careful. Blur gave you some awsomeness. He might trying to butter you up for a deal.

Looking forward to the pics. In addition to posting price, can you also please post some specs (e.g., if it has a flash drive or an SATA drive)?

yes I do know that the envy 133 is not a gaming device, I actually sold my gaming laptop to stop playing games. I need to write a dissertation and I travel quite a bit so this will be fine. One thing I can't get rid of is my PS3 nooooooo.

Will post full specs as well - wasn't sure if their would be interest here so thought I'd poke my head in. I'd like this to go to someone who has the history and understands the Voodoo love I love you

But money talks these days.

Blur is going to end up with a mac daddy gaming rig, mark my words. 12 steps would not be enough to cure him.

Here are the full specs. This has the 1.6ghz processor (same as 11" MacAir, but more cache) and the 80gig rotating media.
It currently has win 7 installed, but I assume who ever buys this will do a fresh install with their own OS. I do have original Vista disk (Vista Business) and the Voodoo driver disk. Note this also has a Office Business 2007 unopened license with it.

It has all original material - including the two Voodoo stickers!. I'll have pics and screen shots tomorrow.

Thinking about the price - the last one I saw went for $800.

Note - not win7 as I thought - but a random vista premium...will install the original or leave for buyer. Like I said, been awhile sine I booted it.

noooooooooooooooo..... but every time I walk in the garage I feel like tinkering with the Omen. I do have video cards, MB, CPU and watercooling system to make a gaming pc, but I will resist.... For the time being.

I travel up in the area every so often. I might be flying up there in November or sooner.

I have never sent a pm using the boards, but I will give it a try.

Excellent. mrblur loves fingerprints, especially the greasy type you'd get after eating a bacon double-cheesburger and a large order of fries.
