Better sound quality out there, but at least this is a live video:

Darn it. I can't embed either. Link:

It appears that agent can still embed. We just suck.

That Roxy Music clip hits me where I live. It is from a fantastic "live" video called The High Road, which I used to play non-stop when I was still working in video stores. It was never released on DVD in the States, save for bootlegs (which were simply copies of the VHS.) Amazon does list a DVD that looks legitimate, but it is an import. I love that video and I dearly love their take on "Jealous Guy."

Try this one on for size. Not sure what the source is:

Sunnavabitch still does not work. Here is the link:

Agent, what are you doing differently?

I love that song.

Here is one that Roxy Music performed live on Top of the Pops in 1980. Unfortunately, the song is truncated early:

Arrrrrrgh. The link:

I (and I assume Seamaster) have been pasting the embed code, which has been working just fine for us -- look at the rest of this thread, for goodness' sake! We shall see if your method works for us:

Well, there you go. An idiot who was not posting the embed code was indeed idiot-proof.

Yep. I was using the embed code to embed a video. It was working fine earlier, and then suddenly stopped. Who knew that doing it the wrong way would work?

Double dip. This one is heavily staged, but is full of energy:

I am not a huge fan of Sarah Brightman, but that is mostly due to her choice of material (which includes too much syrupy musical theatre stuff.) She does have a lovely voice, though. I really enjoyed her singing on Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem, especially on the Pie Jesu.

Here are three for the price of one. I will probably have to do them on three different posts, since it never seems to work for me to put them on the same page:

Apologies for the latter two being "fan" videos, but that was all that I could find. The Reznor/Ross version is really growing on me.

That is a bonus track from The Who Sell Out, which is one of my favorite Who albums.

Seamaster:

I liked it. She is sort of a cross between Kate Bush and Trent Reznor.

. . . and brings me to one of my all-time favorites:

Gibbons has an awesome voice.

This could catch me some major flak, but a classic 80s cappella piece:

I will forgive you, though the sideburns make it difficult.

You want a cappela? Try this on for size:

Fair one.

I couldn't find the Buddy Guy version, but here is a cover that is very well done. See what you think:

I have not heard of him. Interesting stuff. The overall sound is a little synthesized at times, but his guitar playing is brilliant. Reminds me a bit of:

Well, the Clap is the Clap, of course. I should point out that the performance of Morse's to which I linked is not exactly his only method of playing. It was an interesting track, though. Morse does a lot of instructional videos.

Back a few, but have you heard Portishead's new album? This song has already climbed quickly on my all-time favorites chart:

I have not picked up the new album. That track isn't bad, though it sounds a bit depressing. Like most Portishead stuff, I think it'd require a few listens for me to get into.

Have you ever heard The Rounders? On some albums, they have a similar sound to the Black Keys. Couldn't find much on youtube, but here is an example:
