Actually, though, it goes both ways. There are times when the censored version is more amusing, and times when the uncensored version is more amusing. It all depends on the joke. For instance, they are now releasing South Park TV seasons on video minus the bleeps, which is a shame because the bleeps are generally funnier than the actual profanity. On the other hand, South Park: the Movie is far funnier with the languange uncensored -- they pushed thing so far over the top that it becomes ridiculous (and amusing.)
